Halfway between documentary language and author photography, Roger Grasas’s work addresses the role that technology and post-capitalism play in the globalized era of the Anthropocene, as well as the state of alienation that human beings suffer in a contemporary landscape every time more sophisticated, full of paradoxes and sometimes indecipherable. The connection between territory and history and concepts such as difference or hyperreality are also common places in some of his series such as “Athena”, “Hotel, sweet hotel” or “Ha Aretz, the Promised Land”.
